We condemn the practices listed below inside our community because they hinder the development of a fair, open, and reliable environment—things we place great value on.

Fraudulent reviews

Because Taskhelper prioritises trust, it is not recommended to solicit or create fake reviews for your profile. Everyone is responsible for their own acts and behaviours thanks to this two-way system. For our community, upholding our integrity, authenticity, honesty, and openness is crucial.

  • Example: Setting up many fake accounts to give yourself great reviews or paying someone you have provided a task for money to give a 5-star review.

Artificially improving your profile

Completion Rates reflect your consistency and dedication to the tasks you post or are assigned. We do not encourage the practice of artificially promoting your public profile, including the manipulation of completion rates, since it hinders the development of an open and reliable system.

Using Taskhelper as a discussion forum

Taskhelper is not a discussion forum but a platform for short-term task outsourcing. Community members have stated that they utilize Taskhelper to complete tasks and dislike reading comments that aren't relevant to their tasks.

Off-topic comments are those that do not request or provide further information regarding a task or an offer. Comments from Helpers should only be posted to discuss their own offer or to request further task details. Likewise, posters should only leave comments to provide further work details or to inquire about a Helper and their offer.

Harvesting member information

We do not condone the harvesting of information. Thus you shouldn't make an offer or publish a task of this nature. For example, don't post a task asking people to give you the phone number of 20 doctors in your area.

Lead generation

Initiating customer interest or enquiry about the services or products of a specific company is known as lead generation. This covers articles on campaigns that include cold calling, emailing, contacting important decision-makers, prequalifying them, and, where applicable, introducing services. We do not support this. Thus it would help if you didn't make an offer on tasks like this.

No alcohol-based Tasks

Taskhelper has a firm policy against any tasks involving the delivery or sale of alcohol. Therefore, you shouldn't submit an offer for tasks that call for the sale or delivery of alcoholic beverages to the Poster from any place. This covers ordering alcohol via websites for delivery, buying alcohol on someone else's behalf at liquor stores, or buying alcohol on the street.
