You could occasionally run into an issue while attempting to assign your task. We've put up this helpful guide on the problems you could be having and how to address them in order to assist you in troubleshooting and have your task assigned right away.

You should ask yourself some things if you are facing such a situation:

1. Has the task expired?

You won't be able to assign or reopen the task if the deadline has already elapsed. So before assigning, you must establish a new one and get new offers.

2. Has the Helper withdrawn their offer?

If a Helper has withdrawn their offer or deleted their account, you won't be able to assign this specific individual since you won't be able to access their offer. If so, you have two options: ask them for another offer, or pick a different Helper.

3. Is your account active and restricted?

You would have received an email communication from us informing you that your account has been restricted (perhaps for the reasons listed here). For anything you might have forgotten, check your trash folder. If your account is restricted, you won't be capable of assigning a new task.
