The payment sum is securely sent from a Poster's bank card to Stripe when an offer is accepted, and a task is assigned. Depending on the Poster's bank, this transfer takes anything between one and two days to happen.

Stripe securely holds the money in escrow while the task is being worked on.

A payment release request is issued to Stripe once the task has been completed and has been validated by the Poster. The Helper's bank account receives the money thereafter. Depending on the bank and the time and day the request is filed, the process generally takes two to three days.

Why do certain tasks pay out immediately while others take longer?

The duration of each task varies, which affects when the payment is made; some tasks are posted, assigned, and completed over a period of days, while others take only a few hours. However, no matter how long the task takes, the payment system needs processing time.
