Search for profile badges

Our members can apply for a variety of additional badges from Taskhelper to verify things like their identities and other checks. Look out for:

  • ID Badge: This indicates that our verification partner has verified that the information on the customer's account and their official documents are correct.

Request ID yourself

You can ask to see a copy of an ID if a Helper doesn't have the aforementioned badges. We advise that you do this in order to gain confidence with the other member by providing your own documents as well. Asking this question in advance of the task's due date is a good idea; you can use the private messaging tool for this purpose.

Make sure the Helper you assigned is the one who appears

This is crucial for insurance considerations in addition to trust-related ones. If the individual you assign to the assignment is not present, the insurance won't be valid.

If a Helper offers to send someone else on your behalf, let them know that you prefer that they do it themselves.

Know who is assisting your Helper

When completing larger projects, Helpers are allowed to bring along assistants as long as they, too, have active Taskhelper accounts. Ask your Helper whether they are bringing an assistant and if so, get their Taskhelper account information as well.
