We get that you might wish to cancel your work if things haven't gone according to plan. We've included some problems you could have encountered here, along with suggestions on what to do before cancellation.
Communication problems
Great communication allows a great task experience. It is expected that both parties will communicate clearly and regularly to make sure everything goes according to plan. The list below includes some typical situations that result in Task cancellation, and clicking the link will direct you to the steps you can take when being in one of those situations:
- Helper is not responding or shows a delay in response
- Schedules between you and the Helper don’t match
- You found an external (outside of Taskhelper) party that could provide the service needed
- There is no necessity for the task anymore
- Helper did not appear at the scheduled meeting
- Helper requesting more money than the fixed agreed price
- Helper is not capable of completing the task due to the lack of equipment/skills
- Misunderstanding of the objective of the task
- Uncontrollable circumstances, such as emergencies, bad weather, etc.
You're not satisfied with the service provided
The result might not always meet your expectations. Bad communication, failure to define expectations, a Helper's inability to complete the assignment, or both may be the reason for this unsatisfactory outcome.
When a Helper partially completed or completed the task, but did not end up meeting your expectations, the Helper may be entitled to a partial payment as compensation for their time and effort
