I’m a Helper, how does cancelling task affect my profile?

In cases where it is determined that you are the cause of the cancellation, your completion rate will be impacted. Your completion rate won't be affected by the cancellation, though, if you weren't the cause.

In cases where it is determined that you are the cause of the cancellation, your completion rate will be impacted. Your completion rate won't be impacted by the cancellation, though, if you weren't the cause. For this reason, it is necessary always to enter the correct justification and include a statement.

Before requesting a cancellation, take into account the following factors that may have an impact on your profile:

Cancelling can negatively influence your completion rate, making it more difficult for you to get assigned to future tasks. This is because the completion rate is associated with reliability.

Limitation or deactivation of your Taskhelper profile: If you repeatedly cancel tasks, your account may be limited or deleted. Details can be found here.

Additionally, the following things must also be taken into consideration:

  • Charging fees for cancellation: The community charges administrative costs as a result of cancellations. As a result, a fee equal to 10% of the task payment (up to a maximum of €20) may be charged when processing cancellations.
  • The user who cancelled the task will be responsible for paying the fee as specified by the cancellation reason.
  • No secure payment possible: Only tasks finished through the platform are eligible for safe payments or the Support team's help.
  • Only tasks carried out using the platform are covered by insurance.
