When should I release payment?

Once your Helper has completed your task and you're satisfied with the result, you should release your payment.

Once your Helper has completed your task and you're satisfied with the result, you should release your payment.

Be sure to ask yourself these questions before releasing the payment:

Was the task completed the way you wanted it to be?

Did the Helper complete everything in your task description? You may tick off any requirements or checklists that you had.

Are you satisfied with the completion of the task?

Example: You asked to have a website designed. Were you satisfied with the design created by the Helper? You should consider the task completed if you are satisfied with the result and don't think a revision is needed.

Would you say you are happy with the quality of their work?

Example: You asked to have your walls painted. Were all your walls painted with to your satisfaction? Make sure the job was well done before releasing the payment.

Should you not be inclined to release the payment yet, we suggest you try talking to your Helper about it and giving them feedback. If you still can't agree upon the task completion or payment, you may contact our team to help you.

Keep in mind: when you release the payment, the money is transferred from our Taskhelper Credit to the Helper's bank account. Thus, once you do this, we will not be able to assist you in getting your refund.
