When you are assigned to complete a task for which you have submitted an offer, you must pay Taskhelper a service fee.

We have written this helpful article in order for you to understand everything about the service fee. Check out these FAQs to see if any answer your question:

Why does Taskhelper charge a service fee?

Our marketplace has expenses associated with maintaining and expanding it. Therefore we impose a service fee on all payments.

The service fee is reinvested to pay for expenses like support services, fraud prevention, secure payment systems, and insurance. The fees also enable us to keep advancing our marketing and technological capabilities to provide additional task options.

How is the service fee calculated?

Each task you offer will have a service fee that is determined by your current tier status. The service charge may be between 11% and 20% of the task's cost. The tax then increases the amount.

Please check our article about Tiered Pricing for further information on the details of tiers.

How can I know what my service fee is?

The entire breakdown of the service fee will be shown when you submit an offer on a task, allowing you to determine whether the task is a good fit for you. You may also view any taxes related to it and the tier that pertains to you.

You may review a detailed breakdown of the fee for any task you've completed at any moment by going back through your payment history in your account.

How do I reduce my service fee?

Your fee decreases as your tier increases. Please check our article Tiered Pricing for further information on the details of tiers.

How do I pay the service fee?

The fee won't be charged until after you've been given the task; if you don't get it, you won't need to pay.

You will be paid the task money minus the service fee when the task is completed, and the Poster releases payment.

How is the service fee related to tax?

Due to Taskhelper's registration for paying local taxes, our service fee includes a portion of the tax in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations. Click here to learn more about taxes on Taskhelper.
