You won't be able to select a different Helper to complete the task after you've already assigned one.
The first thing to do is ask for the original task to be cancelled if anything doesn't go according to plan, and you will need to find a substitute Helper.
You can let them know if you already have a specific Helper in mind for the task.
In case you know a particular Helper that provides the service you need, you can let the Helper see that you're interested in their offer.
Follow the steps below:
- Visit the Helper's public profile page
- Click Request a Quote.
- Select the task you want the Helper to submit an offer, then write a brief message. To specifically request this Helper's assistance, you can also decide to start a new task from this point.
When you do this, the Helper will be notified that you are interested in their services.
Please remember that this does not imply that a Helper will offer to complete the task you have listed or that they will be able to do so. However, if you create a new task and ask for a price, the assignment will become public, and you will be able to receive quotes from any interested Helper in the marketplace.
