Don't be afraid to ask questions

Whether you have or haven't still been assigned a task, make sure that you ask the Poster all the questions you need answered. This ensures that you and they are on the same page from the beginning, and will benefit the execution of the task

Please ask

  • The Poster about all the specifics of the task so that you know what they require to be done when sending an offer.
  • Questions such as “Where will the task happen? Do I need to bring anything, or is it provided?
  • For feedback, once you've begun working on the task to make sure you are doing well.

Please don’t ask

  • Irrelevant questions as this will just make it harder for you to be assigned the task.

Make sure you send a clear offer

Offers that prove you have read and understood the task let the poster know that you are aware of their requirements. In addition, offers with lots of information decrease the possibility of disagreements and improve the odds of you being given the task.

Please do:

  • Make sure you provide as many details as you can in your offer e.g. what tools you’ll be bringing.
  • If any, make sure you meet all the “requirements” for the task.
  • Be transparent about when you are available, your experience, and why you might be the best person for the job.

Please don’t:

  • Make an offer which doesn’t reflect the complete price of the task.
  • Make an offer that goes against our Community Standards.
  • Ask the Poster to proceed with the task outside Taskhelper or ask for payment outside of our platform. This is because if anything were to go wrong, we can't help you with your payment. Additionally, our insurance won't cover you if you proceed outside of Taskhelper.
